An opportunity to join the team as a Junior Consultant

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic graduates with outstanding academic records to join us as junior consultants in our London office.

This is an exciting role for someone who wants to apply their skills to help businesses, brands, government and NGOs tackle some of the biggest social challenges of our time. What does food that is healthy and appealing to children look like, and how should it be marketed? How do we promote not smoking as the cool thing to do to teenagers in sub-Saharan Africa? How do we encourage all the cafes and restaurants at a major international airport to work together to improve their sustainability impacts? How can we encourage young men to talk about their mental health issues? What should a large communications company do to make sure its products and services have minimal environmental impact and maximum commercial appeal?

Our clients, who include household names such as O2, Virgin Atlantic, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Heathrow Airport and The Coca-Cola Company, as well as social enterprises, charities, foundations, local authorities and start-ups, look to us to help them solve these challenges. As we expand, we are looking for like-minded people to help us help them.

You will be involved in client-focused assignments from the outset as a part of our entrepreneurial and lively team, taking increasing responsibility for your own projects over time. We believe our projects are exceptionally interesting and varied. You could be helping with strategy development, building branding and communications approaches, working on social marketing programmes or coming up with behaviour change strategies.

Your academic background and work experience so far is less important than your skills and abilities, and your willingness to learn fast and take on new challenges. You will be a strong communicator and enjoy analysing problems (both quantitatively and qualitatively) and solving them collaboratively and creatively, and then putting solutions into practice.

We have a relaxed and collaborative office culture and whilst our outputs are very professional, our structure and approach is far from corporate or conventional. Our team is passionate, thoughtful and opinionated and we think this is an interesting and fun place to work.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a proven interest in business, current affairs and social and environmental issues
  • has exceptional written, verbal, analytical and communication skills
  • has strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • is fully competent in MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience of statistical analysis and using programmes like SPSS would be an advantage.
  • is cheerful, flexible and adaptable

Foreign language skills, particularly major European languages, are desirable but not essential.

Salary: £22,500-£24,500 plus benefits, depending on experience.

To apply, please follow the link below to attach your CV and a covering letter. Applications close on Monday 30th April 2018.
