Fancy a new challenge? Come join us

We're looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals with outstanding academic records to join us as consultants in our London office. This is an exciting role for someone who wants to apply their skills to help businesses, brands, government and NGOs tackle some of the biggest social challenges of our time.

What does food that is healthy and appealing to children look like, and how should it be marketed? How do we promote not smoking as the cool thing to do to teenagers in sub-Saharan Africa? How do we encourage all the cafes and restaurants at a major international airport to work together to improve their sustainability impacts? How can we encourage young men to talk about their mental health issues? What should a large communications company do to make sure its products and services have minimal environmental impact and maximum commercial appeal?

Our clients (who include household names such as O2, Virgin Atlantic, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Heathrow Airport and The Coca-Cola Company, as well as social enterprises, charities, foundations, local authorities and start-ups) look to us to help them solve these challenges. As we expand, we are looking for like-minded people to help us help them.

From the start you will be involved in a wide variety of client-focused assignments, working closely with other consultants and our senior leadership team. You will work on projects ranging from strategy development, to data analysis, to branding and communications, as well as developing social marketing and behaviour change strategies. It’s a fast paced environment that requires people who are flexible, adaptable and willing to do what is needed to get the job done.

Your academic background and work experience to date is less important than your skills and abilities, and your willingness to learn fast and take on new challenges. You will be an accomplished communicator, who enjoys analysing problems and solving them collaboratively and creatively, and then putting those solutions into practice. You will be as comfortable analysing large data sets and qualitative information as you are coming up with innovative solutions that create value for our clients and for society, and you will be able to present these in engaging and inspiring ways.

We have a relaxed and collaborative office culture and whilst our outputs are very professional, our structure and approach is far from corporate or conventional. Our team is passionate, thoughtful and opinionated helping create an interesting and fun place to work.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has previous experience in a professional environment
  • has a proven interest in business, current affairs and social and environmental issues
  • has exceptional written, verbal, analytical and communication skills, as well as a proven ability to develop and implement strategies
  • has a good understanding of social media and digital channels
  • has excellent research skills, and can apply these from the outset

Foreign language skills, particularly major European languages, are desirable but not essential.

Salary: £25,000-£35,000 plus benefits, depending on experience.

To apply, please email your CV and a covering letter to Kerry Stevens, and include the words “Consultant 2017” in the title of the email. Applications close on 12 May 2017.
