Happy Second-Hand September! For those of you who haven’t heard of it, no prizes for guessing what it is: a month where buyers challenge themselves to buy only second-hand clothing, being championed by Oxfam and eBay.  

As with all these monthly challenges – Dry Jan, Veganuary – it’s all about raising awareness and giving it a go and we’re all for anything that reminds us to celebrate the old, whether it’s second-hand purchasing or just loving what you’ve already got in your wardrobe. This is particularly important as the seasons are changing. Can you re-waterproof your old raincoat? Do you really need the jacket everyone else is wearing or will changing the buttons on your current one give it a new lease of life? And if there is something you genuinely need, give Ebay and Oxfam a look to see if you can find what you’re looking for. Spend less, feel good – win, win!
