Friday 5
SLP North
31 July, 2026
This was the first full week of Number 10 North: the statement piece of an decentralising government agenda aiming to grow power, pride and prosperity outside the M25. It’s a bold move, but at Good Business we’ve recognised regional value for years.
While we’re still very much rooted in our beloved Soho, London, over time our business and team has grown, and we now have colleagues spread across, and beyond, the UK. From Bristol to Birmingham, London to Leeds, and Amsterdam, you’re never far from a GB-er.
As our team geography has expanded, we’ve also seen more of our clients working from locations outside London. Some work remotely, others belong to regional teams, and others still are part of the raft of companies based outside the capital. And as our work in sustainability pushes us to think in a more place-based way, our network has also grown.
For us, a vital network of industry peers is our Sustainability Leaders Panel. So we are testing readers’ appetite for a potential new event later this year: Sustainability Leaders Panel North.
The idea is simple: an informal opportunity for Chief Sustainability Officers, Sustainability Directors and others sustainability leaders to meet peers, exchange ideas and discuss the issues shaping their work – all from the comfort of the North (!).
So, for readers who live in the North (including Scotland, of course), work in the North, or otherwise just love the North and relish the opportunity for a visit and meet like-minded sustainability leaders, message Emma, one of our Yorkshire folk, here to register your interest (and your vote on where we hold the event!).
We’re also experimenting with other ways to make our Sustainability Leaders Panel more inclusive. This week we facilitated our first in a new series of “virtual round table” discussion with Panel members, and these can be attended from across the world. To register your interest in joining the Sustainability Leaders Panel, please complete the form here.
