A certified Good Business

20 September, 2024

Now for some news a little closer to home for us here at Good Business. We’re thrilled to announce we have successfully recertified as a B-Corporation, reaffirming our commitment to operating as a force for good. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the accreditation, certified B Corporations demonstrate high levels of social and environmental performance, make a legal commitment to be accountable to all stakeholders; and exhibit transparency by publishing performance measured against B Lab’s standards.

Since we were originally certified in 2021, we’ve made meaningful progress, improving our score from 107.3 to 115.0 (for context a minimum of 80 out of 180 is needed for certification) — an increase we’re incredibly proud of. We increased across all metrics, including improved governance, supporting our team, engaging with our community, and enhancing our environmental practices. We’ve also continued our focus on delivering better service and value for our clients, all of which contributed to our improved score.

Our recertification as a B-Corp highlights the steps we continue to take to deliver a positive impact in both how and what we do, and we’re excited about continuing this journey with the 9,000+ B-Corps from across the world. If you are thinking about becoming certified or want some advice about the process, please email David and we can share our experience.
