Fixperience team-building workshops

18 July, 2025

A few weeks back, our team spent the day at Sitopia Farm, digging into food systems and sustainability. It left us thinking: how else could we bring purpose into our team time together?

Enter Fixperience, a hands-on, sustainability-focused workshop that’s perfect for teams looking to do something a little different.

Fixperience offers immersive sessions where teams learn to repair everyday electronics like toasters, TV remotes, or laptops. Along the way, participants pick up practical skills, build confidence with tools, and start to see waste in a whole new light.

It’s all run out of The Fixing Factory, a community-powered repair hub supported by volunteers, donations, and grants. Their mission? Reduce e-waste, empower communities, and make sustainability more accessible — all while saving people money. Every repair diverts waste, cuts emissions, and embeds sustainable thinking in a way that sticks. It’s also a powerful way to strengthen team bonds, with collaboration and creativity built into the process.

As the repair movement grows, projects like Fixperience are also connected to bigger policy shifts. This week, we saw a fresh call to MPs to lower prices for repaired goods which would cut waste, create jobs and help households save money by removing VAT on refurbished electronics.

So, if your team is after an away day with a sustainability twist, consider booking a Fixperience.
