A sustainable scent set to take center stage

29 August, 2025

Fragrance is everywhere, but not all of it leaves you feeling good. Perfumes are often made with harsh chemicals, synthetic fillers or ingredients that compromise animal welfare and the planet. While perfume houses have taken significant steps to improve the sustainability of sourcing and packaging, truly sustainable perfume is hard to find.

Enter Iggywoo. This new London-based fragrance house takes a different approach: scents designed not just to enchant but to enhance confidence, mindfulness and wellbeing. Each fragrance is hand-blended, vegan and cruelty-free, with no parabens, phthalates, dyes or EU-listed allergens. Iggywoo is proof that luxury can be kind(er) to animals, people and the planet.

Founder Richard Saint-Ford draws on his upbringing for inspiration, weaving references from oceans, beaches and other cultural moments into his blends. This approach reflects Iggywoo’s ethos of respecting what matters: safety, science and sustainability, using ethically sourced ingredients and upcycled botanicals to create fragrances that feel both imaginative and responsible.

Among the favourites are Bohemian Water, a unique mix of neroli flower, lime, sea fennel and cedar, and Cashmere Show Pony, which blends toasted coconut and vanilla milk for a surreal dreamy effect. Since its launch in 2024, Iggywoo’s portfolio has expanded to include seven other unisex fragrances.

Combining responsible ingredients and emotion, Iggywoo is rethinking what fragrance can mean today. We are always keen to highlight new, innovative products like this – so let’s hope it’s on your dressing table soon.
