What does sustainability mean to you?
29 January, 2021
This week, we would love your help.
Door-to-door grocery deliveries have become an essential part of our lives over the last 12 months, with many companies stepping up their operations and growing fast in order to meet consumer demand.
Our friends at Abel & Cole, who came from humble beginnings as one of the first delivered organic veg boxes, now offer a wider range of grocery products alongside fresh meat and veg, and deliver nationwide.
The business has always been at the forefront of the burgeoning sustainable grocery delivery movement and it wants to stay there. As we all know, there are always challenging dilemmas when pitting one issue against another – for example glass is wonderfully recyclable but its weight makes it a carbon sinner for delivery. How local is local? And so on.
That’s where we (and you) come in. We’re helping the team to think about its sustainability priorities for the next five years so that Abel & Cole can continue to lead the sector forward, and we’d love to hear what you think.
Whether you’re a customer, admirer, or just have an opinion, we’d love to know what you think the most important sustainability issues are for a grocery company to address. Click here to complete a short 3 minute survey to help Abel & Cole continue its good work.
