Good Business goes net zero
10 June, 2021
We’re proud to announce that as of this week, Good Business is officially a net zero business.
As set out in our dedicated report, we’ve calculated our Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions for 2019 and 2020 and purchased certified carbon offsets equivalent to our 2020 impact. In line with the guidance provided by the Science Based Targets initiative, we’ve also set a reduction target of 50% for our carbon emissions by 2030.
For Good Business, net zero is a no brainer. We also hope we can inspire other small (and big!) businesses to take action on climate change. As a strategic partner of Net Zero Now, we are focused on the hugely important role that SMEs have to play in achieving climate goals and are developing reliable guidance to help them do so. Last month, the UK Government also recognised this with its call to action for small businesses to lead the way on net zero, and the launch of a dedicated platform to support them in doing so.
Whether you’re an individual or an SME, everyone can take meaningful steps to reduce their emissions.
Not sure where to start? Get in touch! We’re happy to share our experiences and suggest how you or your business could make a change.
