Paraorchestra takes centre stage

12 April, 2024

It’s a big month for our friends at Paraorchestra. Following the release of their highly anticipated full length album, Death Songbook, on 19th April, Paraorchestra will be joined by founder and conductor Charles Hazlewood, Brett Anderson of Suede fame, and special guest vocalist Gwenno for an evening of music at London’s Roundhouse on 24th April, before bringing their set to Factory International in Manchester on the 26th. From classical masterpieces to contemporary compositions, Paraorchestra’s eclectic setlist promises to delight audiences of all ages and musical tastes.

Bringing together exceptionally talented disabled and non-disabled musicians, and blending artforms, genres and technology, Paraorchestra is a pioneer in the realm of accessible music. More than just a musical ensemble, through music projects, performances, workshops, and outreach programs, Paraorchestra strives to break down barriers in the arts, promoting accessibility and inclusivity, empowering individuals to express themselves through music regardless of physical or cognitive differences and challenging ideas of what an orchestra can and should be.

Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the transformative power of music as Paraorchestra takes centre stage with what is sure to be an awe-inspiring performance. Get your tickets here.
