Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it?
Luminary Bakery is a social enterprise bakery and café who work with women from disadvantaged backgrounds, providing skills training, paid employment and a community in which they can thrive.
Beyond baking delicious, sweet treats such as cakes, brownies and blondies, they work holistically with women over a two year period, offering a safe space to train, alongside trauma-informed support as they overcome barriers from lack of opportunity and social exclusion, preparation for employment, and guidance in building towards a positive future.
They use baking as a tool to take women on a journey to employability and entrepreneurship, equipping them with transferable skills for the working world.
Luminary Bakery have two London-based sites and an online shop with UK-wide shipping available. So, whether it’s a birthday, a wedding or a company event, you know where to go to for your good baked goods.
